My cute little Christmas baby

Going down smiles and all :)

My little cutie. My new haircut too. I love haircuts.

Our ward Christmas party. Zoey's pretty popular in this ward.

Snow in the Antelope Valley!

Today it snowed in Lancaster, the city I grew up in. This is a quite unusual occurance here in the high desert. I heard it hasn't snowed like this since the 1980's. I can only really remember it snowing once before and it was a very small amount. This snow was like a really good snow, lasting all day long and into the night. There's my parents house below. Andrew took a great shot.

The Holidays are Here!

Well I apologize for not posting in awhile. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood. But with the Holidays here I figured I better start back up again. I'll start with November.

First major event
My sister-in-law's retreat to Vegas. My sister-in-law, Alisa headed up this wonderful outing where all but one sister-in-law came plus Nanny (Andrew's mom). We stayed in a nice hotel and we had tons of fun which consisted of: shopping at the outlets, going out to dinner, swimming and hot tubbing, late night talks, cooking, a great Sunday with a fireside from Nanny and a surprise Baby GIRL shower for sister-in-law Kathleen (it's her 6th child and FIRST GIRL!). My mom and my sister Breanna also met us up there since Vegas is pretty close to where they are. They were able to see Zoey and visit with me and my aunt Kathy. The whole weekend was so much fun and I really got to build some great relationships with family members.

Second Major Event
Thanksgiving! We stayed here in UT for Thanksgiving with Andrew's side of the family. We ate and ate and ate. I made a pomergranite salad that is tradition for my family and I think I was one of few who actually ate it :) It was delicious though. Besides that there was homemade white rolls (thanks mandy), homemade pies, yummy turkey, raspberry jello with real raspberries, stuffing, homemade mashed potatoes, pumpkin bread, chocolate oreo pie, homemade cranberry relish, and tons more I'm sure I'm forgetting. It was just so fun having all the family here. I heard there were 66 of us there.

I guess those are the two major events but there are plans for more. We are driving to CA to be with my family for Christmas which I am so excited about. I think Zoey will love it. In three days I will be done with my last credits for my diploma. I also want to take family Christmas pictures. That's about all that's going on around here. Enjoy some pictures of the cutest one in the family...

She was intrigued by the ornaments.

Pick me, pick me!

This is Zoey's stocking that I made. She also has a Grandma's stocking that my mom tells me is already filled...oh boy! I am also told by my sister that Zoey is the only one with presents under the Christmas tree...what a spoiled little girl.

This isn't her official Christmas dress but I thought it looked pretty festive so we got some shots under Nanny's beautiful tree.

She can sit up for short periods of time but that wasn't enough time for me to get the amount of pictures I wanted so in came the pillows; they match pretty good though.

I just love her smile. My sister Brittany says it's a wallace and grommitt smile... you know the wide, teethless smile. She's so much fun; we love her. Oh, one last thing...we started her on rice cereal over Thanksgiving and she loves it, what a natural :)
