Easter, swimming, and more (Caution: Overload of pictures)

We've had tons of fun since we've been back in Utah. Unfortunately, there have been lots of sick cousins including our little Zoey. She has never been sick before so it's pretty sad to see her fight this cold. It's starting to clear up now which is great because I can't stand seeing her cry anymore when I wipe her poor little nose :( You can probably tell in some of her pictures with her watery eyes and red, runny nose. For easter we had a couple of easter egg hunts, a delicious sunday dinner, a nice visit with my grandparents in Sandy, and tons of yummy desserts. It's always fun to be around the Olsen cousins. We also took a trip to the Lehi pool which was really fun for Zoey. She loved it!

Don't mind my white skin, it's pretty permanent.

A sad, sick face.

Zoey loved eating hard boiled eggs with Daddy.

A fun filled day and a new haircut for me

Today was a fun day. Paul (Andrew's brother) and Serena are here with their family and we went to the BYU creamery and the Bean Museum. Mandy and her kids and Nanny came too. The weather was beautiful and we had a nice time. Below there is a picture of my
new haircut that I love.

All the cousins (that came) in the museum's kids room.

Zoey loved playing :)

Save my baby!

Here's my new haircut. I love it. Just perfect for summer.

Oh isn't she so cute!

My little sister's prom

There are a couple things to point out in this post. First of all, my little baby cutsie sister went to her first prom :( How did she grow up so fast. Next, my mother got a really nice, new, much needed sewing machine and made her dress! (all you need to see is the picture to know she did a great job) Lastly, my sister is beautiful if you can't tell. Wowie, she has blossomed into a beautiful young woman. Oh, and last she has two proms to go. What a lucky duck.

A few brags from a proud mommy

Well, we are officially back in UT. Grandma and Grandpa are in Sandy living in an assisted living/care center. Not sure what our next adventure is but it's good to be back. Here are some much needed pictures of Zoey. The last ones I put up were about 2 months old and in grammy/aunty time that is way too long :)

Just a little brag... can't a mom do that sometimes?
Zoey is the most amazing baby ever. She has never been sick..not even a stuffy nose (though she pretends to have a stuffy nose with her cute little sniffles). Zoey can wave to people (thanks to all the old ladies at the care center in Ely). Zoey sleeps 11-12 + hours every night straight (I've trained her well). Most the time Zoey does not cry when put down to bed or nap. Zoey loves baths. Zoey helps me get her dressed...when a toy is in one hand she moves it to the other for me to put that arm through...she really is a genuis. Zoey has loved baby food from the very first day (about 4 months ago). Zoey can say....baba, mama, dada, babamama (i think that mean food :), ahhhhhh (in a very high pitched scream), and lots more I'm sure. Well, she's just an amazing baby. Couldn't have asked for more. We LOVE her. oh yeah she can climb stairs too! Now, I'm sure all you moms out there think you can top that but I'm just gonna pretend she's a record breaker for now :)

Zoey's stats..
At the doctor appointment a few days ago she weighed 15 lbs 3 oz and was 27 inches long. She had great iron levels but didn't like the poke in her foot. Still a teeny girl, but has gained two pounds since two months ago and that's good enough for me. Someday she'll be on the charts.

What a cute little face

Andrew grew his beard out while we were in Ely to fit in with the Elians.
I think this is 6 weeks worth.

Most of the time when I put Zoey down she just lays there untill she falls asleep. Sometimes she cries and will sit up after you leave the room. In those cases I usually find her like this. Looks really uncomfortable huh? I usually try to slowly pull her legs out.

Oh what a cute messy grin.

Zoey's first hair-do. I cheated and used hairspray, but it's pretty cute.

I stepped into the kitchen for a few seconds and came back to this. The whole roll of Ritz dumped out. The funny thing is I don't even know how she got them because they weren't near her. What a smart baby.

Oh what a pitiful face. I can just imagine the sound coming from this picture. It's a fake cry/whine. haha

More photos and an update

Well, it's been awhile but here we go again. Here's a quick update and some more pictures from the "photo shoot" I had with Zoey. I thought I did pretty good with the camera we had.

Update on us: We are still in Ely Nevada, yes....home to Nevada's Northern Railway!! haha I guess that's as famous as it will get. There's good news though. We are coming back to Ut. hopefully within a week. Grandma and Grandpa are moving into Salt Lake to be closer to their family so we will be free once again! The plans after that aren't solid but we're thinking about eventually moving up to Idaho for school. We'll see!

Update on Zoey: Zoey is 8.5 months old and cute as EVER! I really think I have the cutest thing in the world. She's been crawling for over a month now and boy is that a job. Gotta watch out for grandpa's pills, yikes! Zoey can stand with the help of an object and is SO busy. She never just lays in bed with me anymore. She climbs all over the place, sticks her fingers in my nose, anything to get me up! Thank goodness she sleeps good. We've moved her bedtime to 8:30 and she'll usually sleep until 7:30 the next morning. YAY!

Other than that, we've had a couple events...we went on a few hikes last week up garnet hill. We only found a few garnets, but one of mine is a pretty good one. We've also had some fun days at the park across the street playing soccer. The weather here is pretty nice, hence our outdoor adventures. That's about all the fun for now. Hope everyone is getting some nice spring weather!

Oh, what beautiful eyes!

She was really tired of getting her picture taken :(

I just love the look on her face.

Bathtime!
