September 7th was Andrew's 25th birthday! He's getting pretty old :/ His mom pointed out that he is a quarter of a century; that makes it sound pretty bad eh? Anyways, we had a small celebration at Nanny and Papa's. Nanny made Andrew's choice of dinner which was homemade pizza (very yummy!). Then she also made a cream cheese, raspberry cake that was delicious. It's in the picture below. I make somewhat of a cake/brownie thing. It was a recipe I found in my crock pot recipe book and it just looked really yummy. I've really been getting into crock pots lately and it's been a success. I'll have to post some of the recipes. Anyways, it's called "Brownie Bottoms" and it reminds me of those yummy melted chocolate desserts they have at restaurants,
i.e Applebees Triple Chocolate Meltdown, yumm! (mine wasn't this pretty)
So, here is the recipe for a yummy, easy, and surprisingly quick dessert (quick for a crock pot)
1/2 c brown sugar
3/4 c water
1 T cocoa powder
2 1/2 c packaged brownie mix
1 package (2.75 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 c milk chocolate chip morsels
2 eggs
3 T butter or margarine melted
1/2 c water
Directions:
1. Lightly grease crock pot with non-stick spray. In a small saucepan
combine sugar, 3/4 c water and cocoa powder and bring to a boil.
2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients to form batter.
Spread batter in crock pot and pour boiling mixture evenly over batter.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 1/2 hours.
3. Turn off heat and let stand for 30 minutes. Serve warm with
whipped cream, ice cream, or just plain!
The picture is out of order sorry. Just keep scrolling.

Happy Late bday! Sept is a good month, Jasmin's bday is tomorrow, Michael's is today. Plus we have two other birthdays familywise and one of Jasmin's friends and a couple of my friends. It is a full month :)
We should get together soon, get the boys back rolling on their projects ;)
