We've had a fun and busy week!

It's been a pretty fun, but busy week so far. Those are always the best kind of weeks because they make you feel like you were both productive and happy at the same time.

First off, Jane and Zoey played in the snow with their upstairs buddy Brighton. They all had fun being pulled in the sled and Zoey especially like sledding down the small hills around our complex.

Zoey loves playing in the snow!

Snow Angel

Jane did pretty well out in the cold

First run, Zoey and Brighton

Second run, Zoey and Jane

Third run, everyone. This was pretty cute to watch :)

Next up, we have our sick little Janey. There have been some long nights because babies nostrils are only so big and when you add a bunch of snot to that well....they just can't sleep well! I thought the colds came from the cold, but I just discovered Jane's first tooth so I'm sure that didn't help. Zoey got over her cold quickly and we are back to normal. My favorite part about all of this is that Jane has been Miss Cuddle Bug. I.LOVE.IT!!!! It's so nice when they just want to sit there and rest their head on you.

Not a great picture but here's my Janey giving me loves

We also got a fun visit from Nanny and Papa! They came and spent the night at our house. Here is Zoey watching them leave. I love this picture because you can see Nanny's kisses on her cheek:)

A couple days ago we got to have some of Zoey's friends over for a few hours. They had tons of fun. We had a picnic (in the kitchen of course), colored pictures, played with toys, ate snacks, and danced to music in pretty ballerina skirts. The Salter's are going to Canada to have their baby so we won't be seeing these girls until Jan. We will sure miss them!

Goofy girls...notice how happy Zoey is...well all of them for that matter.

Jane was a part of the fun too!

Here are just some random pictures of the week...

Zoey with Marshmallow face. I like her new way of smiling/smirking

I trimmed Jane's hair the other day, just around her ears. Then I decided to put a little clip in it and it sure was cute :) Look at her ADORABLE smile.

Today we went and visited with Zoey's great grandma Shirley (Andrew's mom's mom) in Idaho Falls.

I let Zoey bring her stroller with us. It was so funny to watch her stroll is amongst all the elderly people with their walkers. She fit right in lol

Grandma and the girls

Just finished this little project today! I LOVE it and can't wait to display it on my front door in a week or so. It was extremely easy and most of the ornaments were in $1 sets from the dollar store, target, and walmart. The idea originated from here. You can seriously do it for like 5 or 6 bucks if you stick to dollar sets. Target had really good variety in their dollar spot. If I had gone their first I would have saved a few bucks.

Boy do we LOVE Jane!

Jane has a special place in our family. She definitely adds "something" to our home that we just can't live without :) Andrew and I love are always trying to describe that "something" about Jane that is just so addicting, adorable, hilarious, and down right irresistible (took me about two full minutes to track down that word in my vocabulary :) As much as we try to describe miss Nancy Jane, we just can't quite figure out what that special "something" is. All I know is she has got some personality. It's going to be so fun to see her grow up. I tried to upload some photos that showed what I was trying to describe...it's almost a sneaky little attitude but in a very humorous, comical way. Almost like she knows just what to do to get you to crack up. She's our little comedian. LOVE her!!!

She's shaking her head "no,no,no" See that little sneakiness in her eyes?...told you...CUTE!

Jane learned how to dig in the trash. I had just thrown away the last of some chocolate cake that we didn't end up eating. IMMEDIATELY after (she had obviously been watching) she B-lines for the trash and before I could even turn around to see what she was doing she had her hands fully submerged in the chocolate cake. Then before I could get to her, she had both hands stuffing her face. I wanted Andrew to see it so I kind of let her continue. As Andrew was grabbing the camera Jane does a free fall backwards gripping the trash can the whole way down. Somehow my supernatural instincts kicked in and caught her a split second before she hit the ground....but somehow I ended up sprawled out on the floor with a huge bruise on my rump. While I was pitying myself and my fall, Jane took full advantage of the situation to stuff as much cake into her mouth as she could. What a little stinker! We were all laughing pretty hard and Jane got away with a lot of chocolate cake :)

Tubby time!!

Big, bright smile

As with all babies this age, Jane too love to suck on strings, ropes, hair, cloth, etc.

Love the drool...and those gorgeous eyes!

Zoey's new Haircut

I've probably said this before but I really like little girl bobs on little girls. It's so age appropriate and easy to do. Here are the options I have found with Zoey's hair...

-Keep it short and have an adorable little bob for two years until it's really ready to grow out. Then it can grow in even and full.

or

-Suffer through two years of scraggle-head and end up with.....long scraggly hair that tangles and is never done because little girls hate getting their tangles combed out. Plus, she probably won't want me to cut it then anyways because she will like "long princess hair" and think her knotted tangle head qualifies as such.

I choose the bob. Every time I cut it, it solidifies my opinion on how much better it looks. Sometimes Andrew says it looks like boy hair but we sure do get a lot of compliments so it's gotta be somewhat cute right? It sure does fit Zoey's cute, goofy personality. I'll let you guys decide for yourself...

I went for a slight A-line this time...it was fun to try but I definitely messed up a lot more.

Love her smile :)

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was SUPER fun this year. It's always been one of my favorite holidays mostly for the dressing up part. Obviously nothing beats Thanksgiving and Christmas but it's just fun to have a reason to party :) I made all our costumes and Andrew made his own. I thought they turned out pretty cute but Jane's was hands down the cutest costume ever :) It hardly took any time but turned out exactly how I wanted it to. When deciding I was trying to pick a costume that would fit her looks and age. I picked a caterpillar with the intentions of having her little caterpillar bum sway and bounce as she crawled. It worked perfectly. If you need help identifying exactly which caterpillar Jane was click here. Zoey's costume was really fun because it really fit her. I'll let you guess who she was (click for a hint here.) I got the idea for mine from my sister Britt. I tried to incorporate a little of Disney's movie "Tangled" into it so it was pretty fun.
I want to try and always dress up because I think kids really like when their parents dress up.

Halloween started out with our ward Halloween party the Monday before. On Saturday we went to a Halloween carnival put on by make-a-wish and then went over to a friends house for some food and fun. Afterwards we went trick or treating! The real day of Halloween (Sunday) we had a bunch of Andrew's cousins over for dinner. My sister and our nephew Steven also came. It was so fun to visit with all of them. We definitely need to do this more often!

I didn't get any pictures at the ward Halloween party but this is the girls
with their treats right after.

Saturday in Idaho was considered Halloween since Sunday is the Sabbath. First stop was a little Halloween carnival at a local park. Karlie came with us and we won some sweet prizes including two duffle bags, a free pizza, and a ton of free frosties. This is the best picture of my hair from both times I dressed up.

Karlie and the cuties

Love Zoey's cute little smirk

One of many pictures of Jane's costume. This one's a good one of the cute stuffed tail.

First candy of the night.

What a beautiful little girl :) We forgot her hat at this carnival but
there are many pictures later on.

Jane got used to her costume pretty quickly. I love this picture because
it really looks like a caterpillar.

Zoey doing some crafts at Monica's apartment. They made ghost suckers.

Janey and her Daddy

Because her bum got in the way of sitting, she quickly learned how to prop herself up on it to improvise. The first few minutes she was just frustrated but surprisingly didn't care the rest of the time. What a cutie!

Another one of her "sitting" pictures :) Makes me giggle every time.

Oh how glad I am that this smile got captured on camera. I just love my little Zoey!!!!

Andrew and I...reminds me of princess and the goblin

Family photo all dressed up.

All ready to go trick or treating!!! First time with my kids, I was pretty excited :)

Zoey's costume is the cutest from the back

...she ended up going home early with dad and went to bed...party pooper! jk

Zoey insisted on walking by herself the WHOLE time. Needless to say, it was a pretty slow walk for the rest of us! The only time she would hold hands is if one of her "friends" held her hand. She is definitely growing up!

Next house...hopefully they don't mind cutting through the grass because we did it a lot :/

Janey and her cousin (andrew's cousins kid) Jimmy.
They are at similar stages in life lol so they got along quite well.

Zoey and cute little Jack. They had fun playing together until the very end.
Then everyone was just tired...especially Zoey. I'm glad we started fairly early so the kids
could play together for awhile.

Michelle, Tommi & Alan (two cousins with a wife in the middle)

Andrew, James, Jesse & Julie (three hubby's and a wife :)

Steven and new wife Katie...cute couple!

My sister Karlie and our oldest nephew Steven did the dishes for us...that was AWESOME!!! Best guests ever seriously :) Thank you!

Just a little cupcake decorating contest.
