Happy Fathers Day to our Dads

I realized this is a great opportunity to post some special pictures of our Dads and Grandpas. We are so grateful to have such great dads in our lives and such wonderful grandpas and great grandpas. We love you so much!

This was of course at my wedding. I love my dad. He's such an example to me. He is one of the most generous and selfless people I know.

This is Zoey with my grandpa, her great grandpa, my mothers father (zoey was only 1 1/2 months). He passed away the end of last year and we really miss him. About five years ago (I could be wrong) he suffered a stroke and was bed ridden ever since. He had a hard time talking and communicating with words. It was so hard for me to see his eyes when you knew he wanted to tell you something. He had so much strength to be able to handle all of that. While we miss him lots, I am so glad that he is able to communicate freely now. Zoey was lucky to be able to visit him a few times during her little life. We love you so much Grandpa!

This picture was taken on our last visit to see Grandpa. It was in August 2009 when we were visiting CA, just a couple months before he passed away.

This special man is my Grandpa Kenyon. We lived with grandpa Kenyon for a few months in the beginning of 2009 before him and my grandma moved to an assisted living center in UT. He really enjoyed little Zoey while we lived there. He got to see her learn to crawl which he was sure was the earliest any baby had ever crawled :) (7 1/2 months) I will always remember that time he was able to spend with Zoey. My grandma (who was in a care center during that period of time) has since passed away. My grandpa really misses her. It will be a special reunion when he gets to be with her again. We love you so much!
