Hawaii Days 4 and 5

Day 4 in Hawaii was Sunday. We went to church just a few minutes away and then prepared for a family potluck. I made coconut pineapple chicken over rice. Nanny had bought a coconut chocolate cheesecake from cheesecake factory which was DELICIOUS! We ate at a park right by the beach and it was a lot of fun. I only have two pictures from this day (the first two)

Day 5 in Hawaii was Memorial Day and we decided to go to Pearl Harbor. It was a pretty long wait but they had different exhibits and things to look at in the meantime. When it was our turn, we took a ferry over to the monument where you got out and could look down into the water at the sunken ship. It was pretty neat to see. Zoey and Jane were both pretty tired and couldn't wait to take naps :) It was still a neat experience. When we got back we went swimming again.

Potluck in the park

Andrew did Zoey's hair for church....don't worry I redid it before we left :)

The USS Arizona Memorial

They had some pretty neat war weapons on display

Andrew told me to do an evil face...not sure how to do that

Part of the USS Arizona that shows above water.

Zoey is chasing birds I think

At the memorial

They had a basket of flowers you could place in different spots in memory of those who died (I think that bench with the flowers on it holds ashes or remains of some of the men)

This is the beginning of a big fit....boy oh boy was she tired. She fell asleep one minute into the ferry ride back. How does she know she'll be two soon?
I don't know if I can handle the terrible twos!
